The Truth Gets Out
Today, Elizabeth has finally told me all the crucial details from her VERY dramatic trip. Finally hearing her tell me this in person and not from someone else really makes me realize how very sorry I feel for her. Not only has she found out what bad of a person Wickham is, but she also finds out the other side of Mr. Darcy, the good side she has never seen before which makes her feel even worse. I know now she has a very different view of Wickham, and a most regretful view towards Darcy. I also found out my Mother's view on Bingley today, how she never wants him to come to Netherfield again and how he is the most undeserving man. All I can say is how can I blame her? If someone did that to my daughter I would feel the same, only I know it's not all his fault.

Indeed it was VERY dramatic, dear sister. Wickham is truly a bad person, and to think I almost fell for him. What was I thinking? In truth, Mr.Darcy is truly a good man, I feel really bad now, I should have known. and for Bingley, it truly is a tragic, but it is not ALL his fault.
ReplyDeleteI am happy to hear that the side of Darcy I have known for so many years is revealed to Elizabeth. I must disagree, however, with your mother. Most of us know she is not the most intelligent person around, and this fact is only amplified through these comments of hers. It is true, I made a mistake. Maybe we will be together one day..
